Loss Control Consultants Step Into New Roles

Two of Public Entity Partners’ loss control consultants have recently moved into new positions. Bob Lynch is now filling the role of casualty consultant for Middle Tennessee, while Jim Bell Hatchel has transitioned from our underwriting department to the role of property conservation consultant for Middle Tennessee.

Meet Debbie Yeager, West TN Member Services Rep

Debbie Yeager joined Public Entity Partners on Sept. 1, 2020, as the West Tennessee member services representative. In this role, she serves as a liaison between PE Partners and the West Tennessee membership, and is the primary point of contact for them regarding their risk management and insurance needs. She supports members by sharing information on programs and services offered by PE Partners, assisting with renewal applications, and working with the underwriting and loss control departments.

Mitchell Honored at TnPRIMA

At the TnPRIMA Conference in November, Public Entity Partner’s (PEP) very own Tahtia Mitchell, Loss Control Specialist was awarded the 2021 Risk Management Associate of the Year award. “This award is designed to recognize an individual in risk management whose performance was and is exceptional,” according to the TnPRIMA nomination form.

Congratulations to Claims Staffers

After 25 years of working with local government employees as part of Public Entity (PE) Partners’ claims department, Michele Williams retired on September 30th. As the workers’ compensation claims supervisor, Michele was responsible for the workload of each of the nine workers’ compensation adjusters, in addition to working directly with claimants and members. PE Partners members who have had the opportunity to work with Michele know that she brings a sense of calm and consistency to everything she does.

Organization Restructuring Approved by Board

During a recent meeting, PE Partners’ Board of Directors approved a restructuring of our organization that will allow us to better serve our members. Jon Calvin, director of underwriting, and Michael G. Fann, director of loss control, were both selected to serve as vice presidents of PE Partners, with each leading a group of departments best suited to his unique skill set.

Meet Celeste Taylor

On July 1, 2020, Celeste will transition to the PE Partners’ loss control department to fill the employment practices liability (EPL) consultant position. In this new role, Celeste will assist PE Partners members in identifying and controlling employment liability risks, and work with the loss control department to develop and implement employment risk control tools.
