Judy Housley Safety Partners Grant Opens

Description:
The Judy Housley Safety Partners Grant provides funding for Public Entity Partners members to purchase safety and loss prevention items or training aimed at reducing work-related injuries and accidents. Examples of eligible items include, but are not limited to: PPE, bulletproof vests, work zone safety equipment, first aid equipment, footwear, turnout gear, education and training, confined space equipment, trench boxes and CPR training. Expenditures for employee safety items or employee education/training that is necessary to control employee safety hazards are eligible for reimbursement through the Judy Housley Safety Partners Grant. Grant applications are available beginning July 1 and are due by August 15, 2025.

PRIMA Institute Scholarship Opens

The 2025 PRIMA Institute Scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to qualified individuals to attend the PRIMA Institute Education Program. PRIMA Institute is a comprehensive risk management educational program designed for both new and experienced risk managers. For scholarship eligibility, the applicant’s employer/organization must be currently insured by Public Entity Partners. This scholarship is a REIMBURSEMENT program, therefore paid receipts, invoices, or other proof of expenditures (excluding your entity's per diem) must be turned in before funds are disbursed. There will be a total of three (3) scholarships (reimbursing up to $2,000 in financial assistance each) awarded to qualified individuals for the 2025 PRIMA Institute Education Program. The deadline for the scholarship is August 1.
Property Conservation Grant Opens

As stewards of public tax dollars, our members are tasked with protecting and preserving public facilities. While property coverage can protect you in the event of a loss, taking steps to reduce the severity or frequency of a property loss is sound risk management. The Property Conservation Grant provides funding for the purchase of property loss prevention and control items such as lightning attenuation (lightning protection) systems, security fencing, cameras, infrared thermography, sprinkler head protective cages, transformer oil or gas testing recommendations to electric utilities, computer network security technologies or devices and items identified or recommended as loss prevention/control items on a property conservation loss control survey.
TnPRIMA Scholarship Opens

The TnPRIMA State Conference Scholarship provides support to members to attend TnPRIMA. This scholarship fund aims to promote professional public risk management by providing greater educational, training, and peer networking opportunities to risk managers, safety directors and other staff with risk management responsibilities. Public Entity Partners will award six (6) scholarships (reimbursing up to $600 in financial assistance each) for qualified individuals to attend the 2025 Tennessee Public Risk Management Association (TnPRIMA) State Conference.
