Risk & Insurance Symposium 2024

Save the date for Public Entity Partners’ 2024 Risk & Insurance Symposium, scheduled for Aug. 21-23 at the Cool Springs Marriott in Franklin. This three-day, in-person educational and networking event will provide attendees with courses aimed at local government risk management and touch on emerging risk exposures. 

We are currently working on the agenda and welcome suggestions regarding speakers and topics. Please send these ideas to Heather Sturtz, Communications and Research Specialist. We appreciate any input you would like to provide as we work to make this year’s Symposium as relevant and effective as possible for our members. 

Registered participants will automatically be notified when the full agenda is published. 

The Symposium is free to attend and members are welcome to send multiple attendees. Anyone with risk management or safety responsibilities is encouraged to attend. 

A block of rooms at the Cool Springs Franklin Marriott has been reserved for Symposium participants. The negotiated room rate is $165 per night and is available until Thursday, Aug. 1, or until the room block is filled. Because many of last year’s attendees were unable to acquire reservations at the host hotel last year, we are releasing the link to book your group rate HERE. The 2024 group rate is $175 per night.
