Safety Partners Grant and PRIMA Institute Scholarship

Applications for Public Entity Partners’ Safety Partners Grant are currently available on our website. Applications will be accepted through August 19th.

The Safety Partners Grant is the longest-running grant program offered by Public Entity Partners and is available to members with workers’ compensation coverage. Last year, PE Partners approved $215,360 in Safety Partners Grant funding to purchase safety-related equipment and training to reduce workers’ compensation claims. The goal of this program is to keep each member employee injury-free. Providing employees with the proper safety equipment is a crucial way to achieve this objective.

Examples of eligible equipment the Safety Partners Grant supports include:

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Bulletproof Vests
• Work Zone Safety Equipment

PE Partners’ PRIMA Institute Scholarship application will be available July 12th through August 12th. The PRIMA Institute (PI22) is an innovative educational symposium offering attendees fundamental risk management curriculum, outstanding faculty and excellent networking opportunities. The PRIMA Institute Scholarship will reimburse selected recipients up to $2,000 to attend the PI22 in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, October 17th - 21st.

• It's Legal Now:  Discussion About Marijuana, CBD and Post-Pandemic PTSD
• Where Are We Now?  Employment Law in The Midst or Aftermath of the COVID-19 Pandemic
• Creating A Culture of Civility
• They Asked For It, Now Where Is It:  Success and Failure of Data Retention
