Mayor Brian Stover

Mayor Brian Stover of the Town of Thompson’s Station became a member of our Board on Sept. 1. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia, and moved to Tennessee in the 1980s. He earned a marketing degree from Middle Tennessee State University and has worked for Sysco Foods of Nashville for nearly 30 years, where he currently serves as the business development manager.

Stover joined the Town of Thompson’s Station in 2014 as an alderman. He was elected mayor in 2022 and has taken great pride in focusing on smart growth, infrastructure priorities, and preserving the town’s rural character and charm.

He has been involved in many rewarding projects throughout his tenure with the town, including his work with the Parks Board in renaming Thompson’s Station Park as Sarah Benson Park, which honors one of the town’s longest-serving public servants. He has also helped grow the town’s Christmas celebration and assisted the town in finalizing a resolution to its long-standing sewer issues as a member of the Utility Board.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity to contribute leadership, value and a fresh perspective to Public Entity Partners’ Board of Directors,” said Stover.
