Meet Debbie Yeager, West Tennessee Member Services Representative
Debbie Yeager joined Public Entity Partners on Sept. 1, 2020, as the West Tennessee member services representative. In this role, she serves as a liaison between PE Partners and the West Tennessee membership, and is the primary point of contact for them regarding their risk management and insurance needs. She supports members by sharing information on programs and services offered by PE Partners, assisting with renewal applications, and working with the underwriting and loss control departments.
“I have always been passionate about helping people and working together as a team,” Debbie said. “My role as a member services representative is about helping our members achieve their goals, and providing guidance and support for their daily activities involving risk management. I focus on helping them gain a greater understanding of our services, resources and programs.”
Debbie has worked as a human resources professional for more than 25 years, serving as human resources director for the City of Martin for seven of those years. She has experience in human resources policy changes, recruitment and retention, wage and hour compliance, workers’ compensation, and training and development. In addition, she developed training programs for sexual harassment, Title IV, OSHA and Safety, and employee relations for the city’s more than 200 employees. Prior to working for the City of Martin, Debbie worked at Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council as a human resources coordinator.
A West Tennessee native, Debbie is a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Martin, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. Since joining Public Entity Partners, she has continued her professional development, working to obtain her Associate in Insurance designation. She has also been elected to the Tennessee PRIMA board of directors and will serve as the West Tennessee vice president.
“I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships and being a valuable resource for our West Tennessee members,” Debbie said.
In her spare time, Debbie enjoys spending time with her daughter, Raven Ashley. A true Chicago sports fan, Debbie enjoys watching a Cubs, Bears, Bulls or Blackhawks game, win or lose.
If you would like to contact Debbie, she may be reached at DYeager@PEpartners.org or 731-599-4011.
