2024 Risk & Insurance Symposium Recap

This year’s Risk & Insurance Symposium was one for the books! With more than 300 attendees, 14 sessions, an awards luncheon and two networking receptions, PE Partners was delighted to host such an insightful and meaningful event.

The Aug. 22 awards luncheon honored recipients in two categories: Excellence in Risk Management Awards and The Public Risk Management Honor Roll. The following individuals were recognized for their outstanding achievements, and have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to risk management and safety within their communities:

• Darby Bushey, Risk Manager – City of Pigeon Forge
• Tom Daffron, Risk Manager – City of Alcoa
• Leah Crockett, Human Resources Manager – City of Crossville
• Leah Presley, Employee Engagement/Human Resources – City of La Vergne
• Emily Payne, Director of Human Resources & Special Projects – Northwest Tennessee Human Resource Agency & Northwest Tennessee Development District
• Jennifer Jenkins, Assistant Director of Procurement & Risk – City of Germantown

The following individuals were inducted into the Public Risk Management Honor Roll, and received awards for their life-long service to Tennessee’s local governments and their employees:

• Richard Stokes, Executive Director – Tennessee Chapter of the International Public Risk Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR)
• Roger Campbell, Assistant City Manager – City of Maryville
• Pam Lennon, Senior Underwriter – Public Entity Partners
• Jim Morrison, Director of Claims – Public Entity Partners
• Danya Feinstein, Liability and Property Supervisor – Public Entity Partners
