The agenda for Public Entity Partners’ 2024 Risk & Insurance Symposium has officially been finalized. If you have not already done so, please be sure to mark your calendars and REGISTER for this year’s event, to be held Aug. 21-23 at the Cool Springs Marriot in Franklin.

PE Partners has thoughtfully designed an agenda that provides high-quality content specifically tailored to our membership. Discover what awaits you at this year’s event:

  • A dynamic keynote presentation delivered by Elizabeth McCormick, where she will share her insights on cultivating a culture of safety. Her experience in the U.S. Army equipped her with the vitality to present a strong presentation that will leave our audience feeling energized, entertained and empowered.
  • A powerful keynote presentation delivered by former Sandy Hook Elementary teacher Kaitlin Roig-DeBellis, about choices and navigating through life’s hardships and uncertainties. Her expertise will instill courage and determination in all attendees.
  • A property track that emphasizes minimizing property claims and ensuring public safety during major and natural disasters and extreme weather. Speakers include News Channel 2’s Danielle Breezy; the City of Waverly’s Mayor, Buddy Frazier, and Chief of Public Safety – Police and Fire, Grant Gillespie; UT Municipal Technical Advisory Service’s Fire Management Consultant, Donald Pannell; and PE Partners’ own Property Conservation Consultants, Andy Lacewell and Casey Clopton.
  • General sessions delivered by adept professionals that address avoiding liability, principled and mission-based policing, the opioid epidemic, First Amendment auditors, cybersecurity, why pooling works, and risk management and FMLA/ADA challenges.
  • A presentation that alludes to next year’s featured track by Reggie D. Ford that will focus on mental health for first responders.

This year’s Risk & Insurance Symposium offers enlightening content, CMFO credit hours, unique after-hours entertainment and valuable networking opportunities. Accredited sessions will be announced in our July newsletter.

We eagerly anticipate this year’s roster of speakers and look forward to your presence at our 9th Annual Symposium!
